Brand Identity – "El Gato Inquieto" Podcast

This project involved the creation of the brand identity for "El Gato Inquieto", a science communication podcast on Spotify that explores scientific concepts in an engaging and accessible way. The visual identity draws inspiration from Schrödinger's cat, symbolizing the intersection of curiosity and scientific uncertainty.

Concept & Inspiration

At the core of the brand is an illustration of Schrödinger's cat, designed using the golden ratio to reflect the harmony between science and aesthetics. This geometric approach represents the balance between rational thought and mystery, reinforcing the podcast’s mission to spark curiosity about the unknown

Design Process

The identity was developed using Adobe Illustrator, where the cat’s form was constructed based on golden ratio proportions. Special attention was given to clean lines and a minimalist style to ensure clarity across digital platforms. The color palette combines deep purple and vibrant gold to symbolize the duality of certainty vs. possibility inherent in scientific exploration.

Objective

The goal of the brand identity is to create a memorable and distinctive visual representation that aligns with the podcast’s scientific and informative essence. The design aims to engage listeners by visually reflecting the mystery and inquisitiveness that defines "El Gato Inquieto."
