BICeBé 2023 – Mental Health Awareness Poster

This poster was created for the Bolivia International Poster Biennial (BICeBé) 2023, focusing on the theme of mental health. The design aims to visually represent the fragility of the human mind and the emotional struggles that often remain unseen.

Concept & Inspiration

The central element of the poster is a 3D-rendered human head, fragmenting into pieces to symbolize the disintegration of mental stability and the internal battle faced by those struggling with mental health issues. This fractured form reflects the complexity and vulnerability of the human psyche.

Design Process

The project combined 3D modeling and Adobe Photoshop for post-processing, enhancing the textures and lighting to create a raw and impactful visual narrative. The fragmented effect emphasizes the emotional tension and the delicate nature of mental health.

Objective

The poster seeks to destigmatize mental health by encouraging viewers to acknowledge the invisible struggles people face. The fragmented head visually communicates how unaddressed mental issues can lead to a loss of self while highlighting the importance of mental well-being.
